Matt Drudge, editor and founder of the Drudge Report, criticized Congress on Monday for making President Trump “do everything alone.”

“Congress hanging The Donald out to dry. Making him do everything alone! Despicable. No tax cuts, no Obamacare repeal. NOTHING,” Drudge, a Trump supporter, said on Twitter.

Trump has been president for just over a full week and has signed a raft of executive orders and actions to implement some of the policies he campaigned on. But some of his campaign promises, like repealing Obamacare and big tax cuts, require action from Congress, a far slower-moving branch of government.

On the issue of Obamacare, Republicans control both houses of Congress but have not settled on an agreement as to how it quickly it should be repealed and what, if anything, will replace it. In another tweet, Drudge accused the GOP of dragging its feet.
