In Polish city of Elko on Sunday, after the detention of four foreign nationals suspected of stabbing to death the night before one twenty years old, sourged riots, police said.

"After the murder on the night of Sunday, we arrested four foreign nationals," said local police spokeswoman Agata Kulikowska, she did not say what nationality the suspect are of.

Polish PAP news agency says that they are the citizens of Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria, and they were all employees of kebab fast food in Elko.

According to the media, they had brutally reacted when the twenty year-old Pole threw a firecracker to the kebab shop. The young man died of wounds infliced from stab wounds.

Several hundreds residents of Elka, on Sunday afternoon gathered outside a bar Kebab Prince, whose windows they had shattered in protest.

Police quickly intervened. "We have detained 21 people. Reinforcements arrived and the situation has calmed down, "said Kulikowska.

Mayor of Elka urged for "calm and respect for the casualty young man."
