First 10 "refugees" were released from the hospital, the police took them
In Sisak General Hospital "Dr. Ivo Pedisic" Saturday night were hospitlized five refugees from dozens of found Saturday night in a van on a highway near Novska, they have received help and all of them on Sunday morning were released from the hospital under police escort. From the hospital in Nova Gradiska also were released five refugees.
Patients were visibly exhausted, tired and hungry, and the medical assistance provided to them in the department of abdominal surgery. Director of Sisak hospital dr. Tomislav Dujmenović, said that patients were warmed, received the infusion, and then were fed. Since they were were a lighter patients, they relatively quickly recovered. He added that four of them, when admitted to hospital, did not knew or did not want to give their personal information.
Since the situation of migrants overnight approved, on Sunday morning they have been released from the hospital accompanied by police, that will carry out their further processing.
The same goes for five refugees that were received at the hospital in Nova Gradiska. After their state approved, the police took them to a reception center for migrants in Sisak.
On the highway A3 near Novska traffic police on Saturday night, in regular traffic control, stopped a truck with foreign plates which were, as was reported by the Sisacko-Moslavicka Police Department, about fifty people, some of them were in very poor state of health.
This morning he media reported that in the van were 62 people, refugees from Afghanistan and Pakistan. They have received mdical care in hospitals in Sisak, Nova Gradiska, Slavonski Brod, Pakrac and Zagreb, and patients in some of hospitals were visited by Minister of Health Milan Kujundzic.
