Watched every episode this year (2016) Mr. Fusion, ..it's real stuff, not the fantasy "aliens with human eyes" scripts Star Trek runs past you, or Battlestar's "soap opera with spaceships" either. SyFy proved they could actually make "real high quality Science Fiction movies" with the HD format ..and within a reasonable budget...stuff like Stargate Universe almost made it ..and with decent scripts and effects (send letters to MGM if you want it back by the way)...anyway, "The Expanse" is what Trek might be without warp drive, bug eyed aliens, phasers and transporters.

4KUHD is coming to ALL of your cable channels...either directly or via "up-rez conversion"...and that (some options for 3D as well post 2017) is already possible because most of the movie- quality stuff is produced in 4K in order to make the special effects look halfway decent (thank you "George Lucas and Star Wars" for using the first Sony HD cameras back in the late 70's..early 80's).
