I think the Romney-O'Donnell-GoDaddy connection is interesting, but I don't view the Hunter video as "an unspeakable attack" on Barron or indirectly on The Donald.

Yes, during Trump's victory speech, young Barron definitely looked like a 10-year old being kept up well past his bedtime or perhaps wakened from a deep sleep, working hard to stay awake while really wanting to go lie down somewhere.

The idea that Barron might be autistic, or perhaps that he had been vaccine-damaged and is much better now, was already out there in the cyberspace ether during the campaigns.

I never saw an authoritative source for that idea, however, just ran into a few articles or comments in which it was an included point. I don't know if it's "a true fact" or just an inference made from other statements (e.g., Trump's remarks that an employee's child had developed autism not long after multiple vaccines were injected).

I think one possibility is that James Hunter might be as pictured on his YouTube home page: a somewhat delicate-looking teenage boy. Is he himself somewhere on the spectrum of autism? I don't know that the video he uploaded required the skills and resources of Harpo Productions; I think a tech-savvy teenager could have created it with tools readily available these days.

However, I could see another possibility in all this. Perhaps it's a deliberate attempt to muddy the waters of the "vaccines may cause autism" matter.

How so? Well, in 2007, Trump reportedly said this:

"What we've done with Baron [sic], we've taken him on a very slow process. He gets one shot at a time then we wait a few months and give him another shot, the old-fashioned way. But today they pump the children with so much at a very young age. We do it on a very, very conservative level."

One could muddy the waters by suggesting that despite Trump's stated approach with Barron, nevertheless autism came into the picture anyway, allowing an inference, then, that parents might as well go along with pediatricians' schedule of massive vaccinations since "obviously, there's no real connection between vaccination and autism - or at least, steering clear of vaccinations is not a sure defense against autism".

Too convoluted? Maybe. :) Just thinking out loud, about something that doesn't, to me, really look like "an unspeakable attack" on Barron but could possibly be about something else.
