I don't have two cents today, but I do have a penny if you don't mind.

IF IT DOESN'T MAKE YOU MAD...you haven't read far enough...keep reading
Basically, we are all VAMPIRES, sucking the energy that feeds our needs, wants and desires. Cool, aye? You know life is weird, right? Not a problem if you REALLY understand life. In fact, if it wasn’t weird, THAT WOULD BE A PROBLEM. Consider this (or don’t...but read on anyway) life is crazy play it is a corky game it is a construct for our entertainment, our pleasure, for adventure, excitement and to learn and to not be bored to friggin’ death, to have experiences that weird you out, to feel the joys of joy and the misery of misery and sorrow and pain and pleasure and virtue and vice and all kinds of opposites and wacky shit that generate feelings in us, so we can feed off of feelings like vampires feed off of blood, and we like it, and when we don’t we still like it enough not to wack ourselves, most of the time. EMOTION ARE COOL.
(I would call it sharing. There are extremes of sharing from take all to give all. Most of it occurs in the mid ranges but it constantly changes with circumstances.)
We seek more pleasure than pain and in the seeking for pleasure the path is often painful, but we figure it’s worth it, and here we are taking chances, doing things that could end badly, but...onward and forward we go, up the hill, down the hill and eventually, over the hill, and the complexity of life is the adventure we came for, and the more challenging the less boring, which is a good thing.
(We seek complexity and challenge to the degree that we can enjoy those things without being overwhelmed or underwhelmed. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to make corrections. Sometimes the unconscious, the larger part of our mind, decides at a level that our conscious mind is not able to grasp. Mistakes add to randomness which keeps someone from calculating the playground out to an end and owning it.)
We have needs in order to fulfill them, which requires us to do things, which is why life is as it is. The planet can kill you, and so can people, and bugs and critters, and our bodies have needs, and our minds have needs, and they are demanding and shouting and crying for us to meet them, thus we do things to shut them the hell up, and when you add wants and desires, THE GAME IS ON.
(Life and death are basically opposing static potentials like positive and negative in an electrical circuit. Living and dying are aspects of ex-is-tence (tense of not is; not static) which in turn is a dynamic, flowing state having mass and inertia and moving between static potentials as currents move through circuits to their callings and goals.)
You could say we are ultimate gamers. Hell...you can say anything you want. Life is a game. All lives everywhere are games. We enter constructs to play. We enter avatars to experience. Are you having fun yet. Why the hell not? Oh...too serious, aye? Well get over it.
Religions, philosophies, everything are merely very important constructs to help make the game even more interestingly weird. Race, culture, environments, languages, beliefs, everything is here to create environments for the game. GOD...WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD.
Worry, fear, anxiety, regret, looniness and loneliness, hate, love, mean people, nice people, thieves, killers, murderers, kind people, generous, helpful, lost loves, danger, joy, peace, happiness, contentment, rich, poor, powerful, dumbdown-down and dorky, whatever, all of that and so much more in this GAME OF LIFE that if your not unlucky will drive you crazy.
(This is accurate. Ex-is-tence is a game and games. The games and variations thereof are beyond endless and the play ground is boundless in every way.)
ALL THE ABOVE IS THE GOOD NEWS.
(This is great news.)
The bad news is...if you wake up and realize it’s just a game and that nothing is real or important, you pretty much lose the extremes of energy that you were feeding of off, and are left with just doing things to keep busy until you die. You shouldna woke up and stopped drinking the cool-aide. You might still get mad if someone makes your life uncomfortable or miserable, but you get over it quickly when you recall it’s just a short game of a few years, and you might get lucky and get killed or murdered and then it’s over. HALLELUJAH PRAISE THE LORD.
(Depends. Some games you get tagged. Some games you play to the end. Some games you just play until you choose to do something else or move to another aspect of the play ground.)
Part of waking up is that you start laughing more and see how funny people are who take life seriously...especially people who are deeply religious, or into I MUST SUCCEED. The awake ones, the ones who know life here is merely a game, take almost nothing, I mean nothing, seriously nothing seriously. Life is not serious...well...unless you’re asleep. I LOVE WATCHING SLEEPING GAMERS.
(As we mature we come to take ourselves less seriously. We become able to laugh with ourselves at our own antics and with others about their antics. We come to appreciate the children at play.)
Your kids can get sick and die, people can get killed all over the place, drop like flies, hunger, cold, famine, whatever, war, plague...it’s all a big joke part of the game. Not serious at all. If anything they are the lucky ones in a macabre way to most sleeping game players.
(The net value of the system is constant. "Good" things happen as well as "bad" things. The net never changes. The appearance of change is just the ball being moved around on the field.)
And yes...you still feel compassion for the people who are asleep and suffering. Why? Because you can feel THEIR ENERGY and it affects you even if you’re awake, which is a really good reason to avoid funerals unless they’re partying and serving beer.
(As we mature we also acquire a more subtle appreciation of energy. We have had the pleasure of spending both positive and negative energy into the play ground and now we come to the pleasure of watching the kiddies plop diaper down in the mud and just grab it by the handfuls. We wish and we hope that what we have spent will enable them to enjoy their games. We derive pleasure from watching them play at what we have matured beyond. We offer our successes and mistakes that they might play a better game than we did. By our pleasure we appreciate their efforts.)
And so here I am, sitting, typing, thinking, and wondering what silly thing I will be doing today. Learning is cool, projects, hobbies, things to do between breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a nap and a good nights sleep waiting for the bag man, the guy with the sickle, my friend, to come and wack me once again. THANK GOD. What the hell took you so long? Oh...been a little busy, aye?
(Again. Some games we just play until we choose to do something else.)
PERSPECTIVE IS EVERYTHING...and being a little crazy helps too.
(We choose our perceptions.)
