Like the now of late actor Robert Vaughn, Leslie Parrish was a vocal opponent of the Vietnam War who bravely stood up against the establishment. According to online information she was in a peace march in Century City which is near Beverly Hills. She and thousands of protestors were attacked and beaten by police and National Guard. Reportedly, The President of the U.S. was at Century City Hotel as helicopters flew overhead with machine guns pointed at the marchers! However, no mention of this reached the television or newspapers! (2)

Leslie Parrish appeared on dozens of the very best television shows including; The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Perry Mason, Star Trek, Mannix and many more in addition to her film work, a multi-talented actress who is now also an activist, an environmentalist, a writer, and a producer.

On a special note, Leslie portrays Jocelyn Jordan (Josie) in the Frank Sinatra film, 'The Manchurian Candidate', also with Laurence Harvey.
