Too many accept the old adage of "When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging"..

But as you stated, I also have discovered the falsity of that reasoning.

If one stops digging, the dirt will eventually bury them.

A gravity assisted cave in of your hole is possible, but a far greater need is keeping the dirt from the holes others are digging next to yours from being tossed into your hole.

Rather, one should work until the light of the tunnel's end is exposed. It is only then that one can realize that change is imminent, and imagination takes over.
