Hi Hobie,

I want to let you know I enjoy reading the news on RMN, and I understand everybody has their own tastes and preferences. I think you guys do a really good job of trying to keep us up to date on an assortment of issues. I also understand you do not have a staff of several thousand investigators and reporters scouring every corner of the globe for news.

I do have to laugh, however, at the posts from the Gurus. If I copied each one I have seen for the last year, put them all in a barrel and mixed them up like raffle tickets, I could pick one out each day, any one, and it would be pertinent to post. All the same buzz words are there in each one: excellent window, feel really good about it, bank personnel have been called in, another glitch came up, the systems are being tested now, I can't tell you the rates, but they're really good, and my personal favorite, we'll be going to the bank Tuesday.

I guess it's good to entertain people, and maybe distract them from the daily hum-drum, but a lot of people are pinning their hopes on the RV and it seems sort of cruel to keep leading them on.

My own personal opinion is that it's not going to happen any time soon, perhaps never. Knowing how this government operates, they do not work for the people, they do not care about the people's well being, and they certainly do not want a bunch of new millionaires running around. On the other hand, the bankers are always looking for money to steal, and knowing how dumb the average American is, they must be salivating at the thought of billions (or whatever it is) of dollars suddenly appearing in individual accounts, there for the taking.

It would appear that Congress has paved the way for the bankers with the new "laws" allowing confiscation of accounts, and now passing a new budget of 1.1 trillion dollars that they do not have to spend.

Another thing is the Collateral Accounts, Prosperity Packages, etc. A lot of people think they are going to be handed a whole bunch of money. That ain't gonna happen. If the money is released, it will go to humanitarian projects, not individuals. The best we could hope for would be forgiveness of our debts.

So, it's going to be interesting to see how this all plays out.
