For the past week or two we've been hearing from Readers things like this: "Your site is not coming up like it usually does.
You see the usual layout ..., and then in a micro second the copy changes and shifts to the left side of the window. It will open just fine in Firefox, but I usually read in Safari. This started about a week ago. Once the copy shifts there is no longer a scroll bar and the copy cuts off at the bottom. As far as I can tell your website is the only one doing this."

I'm sorry you're having this trouble, folks, but we're clueless about what's causing it. The strongest possibility is that it's due to a recent update of Safari or OS X, interacting with something that's been part of the RMN page coding all along - we haven't made a recent change that would cause this problem, as far as I know - and as mentioned, it appears only Safari is exhibiting this behavior. I'd fix it if I could, but that's hard without knowing what to fix.
