SO WHAT STORY DO YOU TELL YOURSELF?

Story, you know, the one you believe is true, the one given to you when you were young, the one you adopted, the one you made up, the one that works for you.

There are thousands of different stories about why we’re here, where we came from, where we’re going. You might even believe you have the ONLY true story. Thousands believe that. Not unusual. Not unique. Some story scripts demand that you share your story, that you try to convince others to disbelieve their story and believe yours.

I have a story I tell myself. My story doesn’t demand I share it, proselyte it, missionary it, evangelize it or that you believe it. In fact, my story doesn’t command anything. I just like sharing it, so I do.

My story is short. Explained in 3 verses. Beginning to end, 30 seconds or less. Here it is:

1. You came from the “stars”.
2. Life is an adventure.
3. New adventures await you.

Feeling. Experiences. Joy. Happiness. Peace. Pleasure. Excitement. Mastery. Overcoming. Conquering. Contest. Competition. Challenge. Adventure. Mystery. Suspense. Hazard. Danger. Risk and Peril and everything else that makes life worth living.
