I agree with both of you whole heartedly; this is ridiculous when the world is facing so many other issues. I do hope men remain men and women, women and this is part of that behavior as far as I'm concerned. It is really taking the protection aspect away from men.

Here is a funny story for you:

During my sophomore year at high school the guys used to stand in one of the main halls and make cat calls as we called it in those days. Mainly just talking about our walks. My friends (about 10 or 15 girls) that were 15 years old being the creative thinking types that they were, decided we should beat the boys to the main hall and stand and do unto them what they had been doing. It was a grand experiment that took the boys totally off guard; they didn't know what to do. It really freaked them out:)

It was about a week or two before they resumed their normal male behavior. I still laugh when I think about the looks on their faces, they didn't know where to go if they weren't standing their ooggling and they didn't know how to respond to the reverse cat calling:) It was like putting a spoon in their brain and stirring it up. Which is fine in the moment.

Yet, these are the same guys that will or will not stand for women based on what they learn and this is where all this was going; teaching men not to be protectors. Knowing the line of the aggressor and protecting women; many men/boys these days want women to do it for them. So we have families that have completely fallen apart.

This was about 1974 which was the threshold of women's lib (I do agree with equal pay for equal work); beyond that it has gotten quite ridiculous. I also think it is great to have a parent home with the children and not schlepped out to some uncaring babysitter or state daycare.

I do understand the chemical castration that has taken place along with many other things to skew the lines of the sexes. That stated, I'm not up for wearing a black robe all the time and being stoned when I'm raped. Time to push the scales back but not to far!
