The first autobiography Adolf Hitler in 1923, in which the future Nazi leader portrayed himself as "the savior of Germany" and compared himself to Jesus Christ, was written by Hitler himself, says a Scottish historian Thomas Weber.

Work "Adolf Hitler: His life and speeches" (Adolf Hitler: Sein Leben und seine Reden) is the first major biography of Hitler, whose author was, supposedly, Viktor van Kerber.

Webber, a professor of history and international relations at the University of Aberdeen, published a document kept in the archives in South Africa, where it is stated that the book was "almost certainly" written in style characteristic to Hitler, "in the shameless way, but with an intelligent sense for self-promotion" .

"This work, in addition to Hitler's speech is rich with extravagant claims and aspires to become a" new Bible "era, but there are also expressions of 'saint' and 'birth' and Hitler's entry into politics compares with Jesus' resurrection," said Webber.

Weber also said that documents discovered by exploring the archives of Viktor van Cerberus, the official biographies of authors, from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, where he sought material for his new book on how to become Hitler's Nazis.

Other Van Keber document, dated 1938, said that the book was written "at the initiative and with the active participation of Adolf Hitler."

Biography contains allegations of Hitler's first "political awakening" during his stay in the military hospital, written in "virtually identical manner" as in the book "Mein Kampf," concluded Weber.
