The cycle you describe is the insane cycle suffered by all nations of organization minded people. Organization always moves toward devolution, enslavement, depopulation and extinction. Evolution is toward the sovereign individual free from any manipulation or deception from organization because organization doesn't exist. That is the necessary condition for real freedom.
We are born into this mess and the mind control begins from our parents who themselves are already well into the illusion. It's not our fault. Sure all these things that were mentioned in this thread come before the end of the cycle but they are symptoms not cause. We must back engineer all the way to organization itself. The handful of psychopaths who are in control do so by controlling the centralized power and wealth of all the significant organizations. Forbidding organization is the only known way to stop this cycle. We've been going about it wrong for centuries and are far too indoctrinated to look at and learn from examples in the past.
We don't make it all better by once again becoming moral or addressing any of the other symptoms mentioned. The problem is systemic. The symptoms will continue to pop up in some form no matter how much we address the symptoms. We must address the system. The system is designed to do what is happening. It is not designed to free us or make us moral or nice. It is a system of enslavement controlled by a dark side. What could possibly go wrong there.
