Migrants Protest in Belgrade, set off on foot to Hungary

The group of migrants, in which there are children, started on foot from Belgrade to Hungary in the sign of protest to the Hungarian government.

The protest began around 8 am in the park near the bus station and after 9 am part of the migrants decided to go on foot to the Hungarian border to protest the decision of Hungarian government to let migrants into their territory.

BETA was informed at the information desk of the bus station, the situation had previously been tense because of the conflict among the migrants whose one group wanted to walk towards the border and the other group did not want to go with them. Police had to separate them, said the Info Desk.

The police present in the park and surrounding streets, and because of the protests in Karadjordjevo street traffic was temporarily halted.

Note that in the image above there are no woman or senior persons. They are escorted by Serbian police towards Hungarian border where they will remain until they are not permitted to enter Hungary, or so they stated.
Yesterday Hungary referendum with 98% of 40% who voted in referendum declared that they do not want that EU distributes refugees/ migrants to their country. Before that they had reinforced their border fences towards Serbia.
