I think "want" is too strong a term for any intention of the cabal to acquiesce to a Trump presidency.

Even early on there was a theory that the Trump candidacy was a masterful psyop to co-opt the disaffection of Americans with the establishment. Initially this was mostly with respect to the Republican Party and the nomination process, and I even wrote about it in a post last Spring. And since there is really only one "Party" with Red and Blue tag teams, that theory would extent to the whole Establishment.

But the Establishment reaction to Trump has always seemed to me to be one of incoherent, borderline psychotic rage, which reminds me of the reaction of the pod people in "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" when they realize someone walking around the village is not a pod person.

Thus, I would find it hard to believe that everything that has happened has been choreographed from the beginning to happen exactly as it did, and I know that you, Nemesis, are also not saying that. However, as to whether the Establishment have a game plan in place to deal with a possible President Trump, I would certainly expect that they do, as obsessed as they are with leaving as little as possible to chance.

But I think they would much rather not have to do that, and would vastly prefer to engineer a scenario where they can shoehorn in new Red and/or Blue Team candidates of their choice, who can be relied upon to do exactly as they are told.
