Thanks. :) Talk about synchronicity...as you were writing this, I was reading an article by Carl Johan Calleman, in which he presents the argument that the Giza pyramids and Noah's ark have much in common and are telling us something about past global events.

Calleman notes that "civilization" appears to have begun to emerge around the globe between 3200 and 3000 BCE, with 3115 BCE marking the start of the Mayan "Sixth Wave". It was in this timeframe, apparently, that straight lines and rectilinear structures began to appear in human cultures.

Calleman suggests this is telling us that there was a "download" into human consciousness, one that launched civilization as we have known it. He suggests that some were able to receive, accept, and express-forth from this new download, while others may not or may have chosen to remain in the previous, relatively chaotic, pattern of living.

Suppose he's right, and suppose that "The Event" is entirely similar to the supposed "download" that occurred in 3115 BCE.

It might mean that we're looking toward a substantial shift in consciousness and not necessarily something that would manifest directly in the physical realm of Earth itself - no "slap from God", in other words. :)

It might still mean that some will "get it" while others might not. Perhaps we've misunderstood what's meant by "ascension" in this regard; that is, perhaps it's not a state one seeks to attain to, but something that might come to pass for those open and available to receive this "download". It's said that the meek shall inherit the earth. Perhaps this is how that happens. :)

Perhaps, even, this "download" began Dec. 21, 2012. (I'm not aware of Calleman's suggesting that, it's just an idea I'm having.) I don't know about others, but it has seemed to me that small-scale "telepathic" events have been on the rise recently. It remains to be seen if that's a momentary manifestation of something or the start of something that will continue to increase. Is it evidence of some "download" that's producing a gradual shift in consciousness? Dunno. Yet. :)
