As of a day or two ago - each time I finish reading an article on your site and click to go back to your main page I get a Windows Internet Explorer message that asks if I want to leave this page. If I am finished reading the article and I click on leave then it totally disconnects me from Rumor Mill News.

The only other time I have ever had this message come up is when I have gone onto a site that is selling something, usually obnoxious in nature.

Is your site being purposely attacked with this message? I hope you can stop it or tell me what to do to stop it. Thanks.

(hobie here.) Thanks for your note; no idea what's going on there. I'm aware of the "Stay on page / Leave this page' dialog, having encountered it myself on the obnoxious overly-long video presentation ads currently found on Internet. But there's nothing like that inherently in place at RMN.

We do have multiple remote ad suppliers, so conceivably it's the result of something being sent to us by one of those, but I haven't encountered it myself.

One possibility: It's conceivable IE is bringing you a _cached_ version of something; clearing your browser cache might possibly bring relief...?
