How to Play these three videos one after the other
Hobie has posted three very nice and soothing songs here by Secret Garden so I was wondering: is there a way to post them so they would play one after the other, i.e. without having to open each post?
I found it in the YouTube documentation. Explanation is below the video. Click the Play All button and all three songs will play one after the other ...
Hobie's Three Videos Playing as a Single Stream
The secret to making several videos play one after the other in a stream is in the parameters of the "src=" part of the "iframe" embed tag. You embed the first ID as normal and then append the IDs for the rest with the "playlist" tag. [the code below is all on one line]
With this method you do not need to actually "make" a playlist on the YouTube site, it is just created on the fly from the iframe embed tag with the video IDs you included.
You will notice that the embedded player now has a couple extra things. In the upper-left corner there is a button labeled "Playlist" which lets you select any of the videos. And there are also two double-arrow buttons by the play button that let you jump forward or backward.
These pages will help to learn this type of thing:
Also realize that once you master making these iframe tags you can put a bunch of them in a plain-text file, then save it with an ".htm" extension (e.g. mylists.htm) and open it in your browser -- all your song-lists will be there ready to play.
Any time you want to add a song to one of the lists just open your "htm" back up in the text editor, add the ID in the correct place, then save the file again.
