Faking it with MATH!...or Bastardizing the TRUTH!

Great post about the AI!

Vibration, Cycles Per Second, Frequency, Wavelength, etc. they all describe some aspect of "being".

Sine wave, Square wave, Sawtooth wave....they describe the rise and fall shape of the wave.

Our "problem" regarding AI, is in the quantization and the "faking" of the *REAL* vibration to approximate and create a facsimile of the REAL thing!

Just a note, many of the terms above, especially Cycles Per Second, Frequency, Wavelength are used to quantify and measure with standard units of measure.

So to put it simply, frequency is a descriptor of vibration...at what frequency does it vibrate?...can the frequency be reproduced...and more importantly, can the pitch and timbre be reproduced?....digital audio sampling!

My "take"?...Analog will *always* have a warmer feel and more "presence" to it. BUT...
