While lashing out at the jury's decision by rioting in the streets, vandalizing buildings, and destroying other people's property may temporarily satisfy the rage and anger seething within your soul, how will any of your emotionally-driven responses bring back the life of Michael Brown? Or Trayvon Martin, for that matter? Did you sit on the jury and weigh the evidence, both for and against Officer Wilson? Or, did you simply declare him to be guilty ahead of time based on your personal sense of righteousness and justice?

Are you prepared to pay higher prices for goods and services to those business owners who sustained extensive property damage and loss due to your actions? Some Ferguson and Clayton businesses may even be forced to close shop because they won't be able to afford to replace the inventory they lost or the higher liability insurance premiums that they'll be obligated to pay.

Winter is right around the corner (in many parts of the U.S., it's already made her appearance). Be prepared to cope with fewer shopping choices in your neighborhood in the weeks leading up to Christmas and New Year's. Keep behaving and reacting with rage and you'll give the feds the justification to impose martial law - not just in Ferguson but all across America. It's your call...
