I agree. There is a reason we have so many 'battle' and killing video games. They're training up the next generation of soldiers.

There is one issue I have with this.
The will to do it.

Most or nearly all people have to be trained to take another's life. A gang member, a soldier, or a carrier criminal have placed no value on another's life. They could easily kill with a knife within 21 feet. It could probably be a much longer distance if the one with a gun is a scared home owner awakened in the middle of the night. I doubt there is anyone reading this forum willing to successfully use a knife to defend them selves at any distance against an armed or even unarmed assailant. I doubt I could, even when I was younger and physically able to do so. I shudder when I think of wars before firearms when you could smell the breath and blood of the enemy you were killing with a sword or spear. Now people kill at a longer distance with firearms. You move up to artillery, bombs and even sitting in a nice chair 8000 miles away flying a drone, killing has become impersonal and easy when you can not see who you are killing.
