I have had arthritic hands, lower back and knee joint pain for maybe 5 years now. I have tried many of the old standbys such as a.c. vinegar, organic honey, curcumin, etc, etc with only mild success.

About 10:00 this morning I was treating my horse's bruised foreleg with an 8.99 pint bottle of DMSO I bought at the Co-Op this morning. I just used my bare hand and a rag to rub it in.

I did feel a mild sensation from the liquid, but nothing out of the ordinary. Certainly no stinging or pain. When I came in, I proceeded to wash my hands and prepare lunch.

In doing so, I noticed the lack of stiffness in the joints of my fingers and hands, and the absence of pain in the joints. It had only been 2 hours at the most, since I had doctored my horse.

I remembered reading on line about the use of dmso for arthritis symptoms, so I got online again for some research.

I found several articles that raved on the beneficial arthritic uses of dmso.

So, about 2 pm local I took a warm shower, dried off and then and rubbed dmso on my lower back and both knees, front and back. I stood there a minute, and the liquid just sort of sunk in. It did not run nor drip. I did it a second time, got dressed and went to the garden to do some dreaded weeding.

My knees and lower back are often quite painful after such an episode. My back especially, when I sit for more than a few minutes, begins to protest.

I came in for an iced tea, and sat down for a moment. To my surprise, There was NO pain in either my back nor my knees.

It is now about 6 local and let me tell you... I plan on taking another shower this evening before bed, and doing the dmso again.

I don't often sleep more than a few hours at a time at night, because of my lower back. I am looking forward to a full nights sleep tonight, and I am confident it will happen.

As I said, I got the dmso at a local feed store. It is marked "not for human use" but being wise to the ploys of the commercial system, and since I did not plan on drinking it anyway, I understood. Besides I did not want to pay $16 on Amazon for a 8 ounce bottle with a different label.

So, friends, if you have some arthritis, gout starting (or advanced) give it a try... It sure worked for me.
