The consecutive numbers 803 and 804... whether or not they are relevant to the Egyptian airliner crash, they are very curious, for sure.

May 19, 2016 – Air flight 804 goes missing 803 days after flight Malaysian airline MH370 went missing on March 9, 2014.

EgyptAir flight 804 from Paris to Cairo vanished from radar over the Mediterranean Sea early Thursday, just after crossing into Egyptian airspace. The Airbus A320 was carrying 56 passengers and 10 crew members. Egyptian and Greek authorities have begun a search for the jet. Jonathan Vigliotti reports from London.

EgyptAir said there were 15 French passengers, 30 Egyptians, one Briton, two Iraqis, one Kuwaiti, one Saudi, one Sudanese, one Chadian, one Portuguese, one Algerian and one Canadian on the flight.

Egypt’s Aviation Minister Sherif Fathy said at a news conference in Cairo that there was a “stronger” likelihood that terrorist action brought the missing plane down than a technical failure.

A Greek official said the aircraft made sudden “swerves” off its charted course as it plunged and then disappeared from radar.

The jet “turned 90 degrees left and then a 360-degree turn toward the right, dropping from 38,000 to 15,000 feet and then it was lost at about 10,000 feet,” Defense Minister Panos Kammenos said at a news conference.

The crew of a Greek merchant ship said they saw what resembled “an explosion that lit up the sky” some 130 miles south of the island of Karpathos in the Aegean Sea, according to the Greek navy, which said it was investigating the report.
