Dear Hobie, Rumormillagents and Rumormillreaders,

What often seems to happen within Socialism is a redistribution of wealth between the lower and middle castes and the upper castes are left untouched. That is better how? I'm just going by the history that I've considered?

I've also questioned many people from around the world face to face in my gift shop and discovered that home and land ownership was being taken from them as well as earned pensions. Oh, promise me eh?

What about a truth telling government. In order to have a truth telling government (if we need one:)) one has to be that which the government can reflect. Self absorption is indeed a problem across the board and needs to be addressed. A return to some sort of humility as well as helping to raise up our family versus competing with them.

Competition is not a bad thing; keeping up with the Jones's is.
All these small fine lines that seem unimportant and surely once in a while we must let our hair down.

Yet, it is the understanding from the heart about not only self but with equal importance the circumstance of our family, neighbors and our planet.

Just because the bastards usurped the environmental movement doesn't mean it has no place. It simply means that the movement must be restructured (do it again); without the cess pool of bottom feeders involved.

People who commit true crimes by 'white collar' folks which always amounts to many deaths because of devastation to those that can least afford to loose anything should be held accountable just like everyone else. 'Victim-less crime', really?

Before I stray to far from my original point which is to define what we are looking to accomplish in this world. I came across a term noted as "Natural Capitalism". The part I liked was the responsibility to Nature and if we go one step further with this and have responsibility to humanity as well.

That somehow seems to be the direction we need to go or something similar? Socialism and Communism just seems never to work for people who are actually thinking and creating better for the next day and next generation. They always seem like a backslide and I know about the different times that the world goes through so why not elevate to a different paradigm. For what it is worth--
