Windows 7 Sucks! Pay More & Get Much Less! Don't Buy or Use So-Called 7 Upgrade

Super-automatic is not necessarily better. For example, in Windows 7 the Wordpad application has an automatic hyperlink feature that has really put off lots of users. Like one guy said, if I want a hyperlink, I'll create one, but don't go making automatic links in this text document. Try spending your time figuring out how to remove the automatic hyperlinks and hyperlink feature.

Also, many users did not want auto-formatting but got it anyway.
Also, Microsoft has removed the e-mail program feature. That's right, folks - NO EMAIL PROGRAM FURNISHED WITH WINDOWS 7. Windows Live, as this editor understands it, operates in the cloud, as they say. You log into Microsoft where your email is handled, etc.. This looks like complete robbery. Rob the user of choice. No Outlook Express, no Windows Mail.....nothing.

Remember what George Carlin gave you as example? Like the number of ice cream flavors that's rapidly diminishing? Fewer banks, insurance companies, oil companies, etc., until it's all under one control.

The problem is: the older operating systems like XP have more features and usability, but are said to be less secure. Customers are forced to sacrifice security or usability.
In order to wean XP users away from their systems to accept the new systems the XP users conveniently (inconveniently for the users) receive unwanted bugs and viruses and other malware. UGH! And so that's basically it...if you don't wish to lose your complete OS like in a shutdown, black screen or blue screen event, you must upgrade and buy more or take your chances.

Rather than beat head against x on wall, this editor will just leave it at that. There are myriads more disadvantages to Windows 7 that disappointed users have discovered, but what should be surprising about products from a company that charges more and more, but gives less and less and less to the consumer?
