My opinion is Cliven Bundy has to see where he signed a contract.

The court system moves by contracts and breach of contract.
There is no one that can impair the obligations of contracts, because to do so is tortious interference.

If the contract is unconscionable, rescind the signature.

Some will ask, what contract did he sign?

Those who have ever been 'through the system', knows there are many opportunities to enter into agreement with those people.

From signing the paper stating the charge, and promising to appear, and signing when they are booked, and signing when they agree to and post bond.

People throw their signature around like it's worth nothing, but if it's worth nothing why do so many people want it to rent to you, or sell you a car, or after serving you food when you charge it? Why do they want it when you enroll your children into school, or sign the student handbook within three day of the start of school? Why do companies want it as part of the hiring process?

It's all contracts...all of it....all business agreements.

NO law impairing the obligations of contracts shall be made.

So as long as he's in contract, and he's looking for someone to get him out of it...that's not going to happen.

But if someone is failing to perform the obligations of the contract he entered and it appears he is stating the contract he entered promised him a speedy trial, then that may soon happen.

As for solitary confinement. Sometimes the best way to protect someone from anyone is to keep them away from everyone.

Prison has many people who can end up with things that are forbidden if someone wanted to make it happen bad enough.

Sandra Blake was murdered and look how long it took to get a decent investigation. But can she testify?

If the government employees felt there was something to lose, having Cliven in general population does not guarantee his safety.

If he doesn't care, or is not concerned, then he can demand to be mixed with the rest of the people and if it's in his contract that he can make demands, I guess they'll give him what he seeks.

Usually signing changes the status from anything that could normally be free to the status of 'inmate' after the 'intake'.
Inmates are lower than low, and that status thing is hard to remove once one has with full consent, signed to receive it.

I'm sure he didn't indicate he was under duress on any signature.

I will admit, there are a lot of things about this world I have no information on. So there is no way anything I think of can possible be the answer, a answer, an answer, some answer. It's just thoughts on paper, and observations from afar. Believe nothing of what you see anyway; it's all an illusion.
