This full free movie is listed in Public Domain and is based on the life of a real, documented person who held a terrific crime spree in the Los Angeles area during 1945 and 1946.

Having recently reviewed this film I can say it is a nonstop cliffhanger and was also the inspiration for Jack Webb's 'Dragnet' series. There are scenes which do depict violence, etc., to illustrate the activities of the perpetrator and response of the police, etc..
