The FBI are withholding Video Evidence of Lavoy Finicum’s Shooting.

There were two camera platforms recording what occurred at the roadblock where Lavoy Finicum was killed. The FBI’s released video named, “Complete, Unedited Video of Joint FBI and OSP Operation 01_26_2016.mp4” (THE VIDEO) is not “Unedited”. It is instead a composite of two videos edited together.Being aware of this switch in video streams is crucial to understanding what happened because at the point that 2 of the 3 shots that eventually killed Lavoy were fired, THE VIDEO content is switched to a stream with a bad viewpoint and lower resolution in order to hide what happened then. The FBI are withholding video footage taken by the closer in Camera 1, with a better viewpoint , during the firing of Shot’s 2 and 3 (as described in the official autopsy). The FBI worked very hard to mask the switch between the two video streams so their deception would not be noticed.

Two of the shots that eventually killed Lavoy Finicum occurred within 2 or 3 seconds of his exiting the truck and what happened then will be shown clearly in the unreleased video footage being held back by the FBI. The FBI should immediately release the complete Camera 1 video footage. Of utmost importance is the segment of footage of the events that occurred between timestamps 00:34:50 and 00:34:55 as recorded on THE VIDEO.

SUMMARY….

The FBI has footage from Camera 1 between 00:34:50 and 00:34:55 that shows what happened outside Lavoy’s truck at approximately the viewpoint shown in the image below, and at a minimum of the quality of that image. (I have no doubt that the overall quality of THE VIDEO was brought down by the FBI from 1080p and that the original quality is far higher than anything we see in THE VIDEO that they made public).

The FBI stealthily went to great lengths to insert a much lower quality video stream at the point where Lavoy was shot by the killing shot while he had his hands in the air and was cooperating.

Lavoy did not die immediately beside the truck (from shots 2 and 3 in the autopsy). Lavoy got up from beside the truck after being shot and continued on to where he was later knocked down and died. Some of Lavoy’s later erratic movements are likely from the internal injuries sustained near the truck. He was likely beginning to come out of shock and feeling the injuries.

Lavoy’s actions after he left the truck were edited by the FBI to make him look more threatening in order to Justify killing him there. They falsely portray him as reaching for a gun which would make this a justified killing.

To hide what actually happened beside the truck the FBI used the more distant, poorer quality, video recording from Camera 2 instead of the higher quality video for Camera 1 which would have clearly shown what happened.
