There is absolutely nothing wrong with being the watcher. When you remove yourself from the merry-go-round you can observe the chaos around you without being of the chaos.. This incessant mental noise that surrounds us, prevents us from finding the realm of inner stillness that is inseparable from Spirit. It also creates a false mind-made self that casts a shadow of fear and suffering.

I've often pondered what my mission is in this life; we all have one but many never carry out their self appointed task, wrought before their current incarnation. Some say that those at peace are carrying out their mission.

There are three kinds of people; those that make things happen, those that watch things happen and those that wonder what happened. I see myself as moving between the second and third and am definitely not a mover and shaker of this world. I have much to learn. Whatever I undertake is always full of mistakes and omissions and that results in a lessen in humility.

I cannot be the one with get up a go, as intimated by Brother Nathaniel; I struggle to be the observer and comprehend what I am seeing. This world is just "So Wrong", it is difficult to branch out more than my experience tells me I can.
