Let's see, they keep Hillary running in the presidential race as long as possible until her deteriorating health no longer allows her to continue. At that point, she suspends her campaign to the chagrin of her supporters. The POTUS, A.G. Lynch, and others use their authority and influence to ensure that Hillary is not indicted because of the email server security breach (or any other criminal or treasonous activity). She rides off into the sunset as a free person... maybe she is gifted with a heart transplant or other medical procedure that allows her to come back to the political arena in 4 years.

The Elite are undoubtedly aware that Bernie doesn't have the same name recognition and drawing power that Hillary has. They also know that the Republicans are not likely to switch their allegiance in large numbers to either Mitt or Jeb. They've made it perfectly clear that they are out to prevent Trump from being named as the Republican candidate for president. If both Cruz and Trump are neutralized and Hillary leaves the race because of health problems, who's left?

At the same time, the Elite want to make sure that the globalized policy changes that Obummer has enacted over the past 7 years remain in place past his current term in office. If I recall, Obummer made a statement a while back where he felt that he could win the next election if he was allowed to run for a third term. Finally, there are the rumors circulating within the alternative news outlets about the possibility that a staged incident could trigger martial law in the United States that would result in the cancellation of the presidential election in November, with Obummer retaining his post.
