An interesting thing about interest rates... When Kissinger went in the 70s went to the Middle East he went first to Saudi Arabia and told them we will buy your oil, we will make you sheiks, we will make you rich, you will be like kings!. He told them they just need to agree to sell the oil to us in US dollars, and buy some of the u.s. debt. The Saudis said sure, would do that. And they did. Then Kissinger went to Iraq and Iran and made them the same offer. But Iraq and Iran both told him we are Muslims, we don't believe in usuary, and we won't take your offer. From that point on it was on the drawing board for us to go to war with Iraq and Iran . We Americans have fallen for the trap of the big Banks. Had we never gotten loans, we wouldn't be paying the usuary, or at least be enslaved at the same level to their banking system.

When I grew up, you didn't charge things. It took the banks a steady advertising (get it now) PR campaign to get us hooked.

Our government debt looms over us. But NO DEBT is as stressful as your own. Those of with big mortgages, car payments, and credit card debt are stressed. We fell for the lie.

If there's one good thing to be said about those people in the Middle East it's that Iraq and Iran stood up against the big Banks. Iraq of course was the first to suffer the wrath of saying no to the central bank. After the smoke cleared from the bombings of desert storm.... The first thing the US did was to implement a central bank linked to the Federal Reserve in Iraq. The war was to force Iraq to sell oil only in us dollars. Anything else would cause the bankers to loose their grip on the petro dollar. The new federal Reserve bank in Iraq took care of that problem.

In my opinion since Saudi Arabia was the first to fall for Kissingers deal, it appears to me (Saudis being predominantly sharia law Muslims) that the greedy Saudis fell for Kissingers ploy as Sharia law Muslims have no principles. We now know that many of the Saudis are the baby raping sodomites of ISIS.

There are sects of Muslims that are very nice people. A quiet group that lays low so not to get persecuted by the radicals ISIS Muslims. Could this be those ones be be that those who do not believe in usuary? Would to God all of us could stay out of debt and away from usuary. But kudos to anyone (even Muslims) who have the principles to do so. But in an after thought, maybe this is THEIR PR campaign....Convert and you can get an interest free loan!!
