My weight and mood seem to stabilize as long as I'm eating some sort of nuts.

Usually I go to the health food store and buy raw cashews (which are toxic) and then roast them and this is what produces the wonderful flavor and expels the toxins. This way, I choose the type of oil and use sea salt. The whole family loves them.

Also roasted pumpkin seeds and between these two snacks they keep us going during the week. Couple small bowls set out and they are always available and quick to grab.

I do love almonds and walnuts as well but have had to be very careful about the almonds as they are using something that made my throat swell in bags of non cooked almonds (from the grocery store). This happened about two years ago so I've been staying clear.
