These articles are both right on the money, if I may use that term loosely.

The problem is in the courts.

I've been to court five times with IRS, and only "won" once because the IRS error was so glaring the Tax Court "judge" had no choice but to rule for me.

The IRS simply corrected the error and continued on.

I went as far as the Ninth Circuit, which said, in a one-page response, "Petitioner has presented no issues of material fact."

The issue was a statement in the IRS code which says

"The Commissioner shall determine...."

I had a transcript by a certified court reporter of the hearing officer saying,

"No, it says 'I' will determine.... and I have done that."

Unless it is a very high profile case, and the issues are iron clad, the courts will simply say,

"Irrevelant, move on."

Most people have figured out by now that the federal courts are corrupt, the judges working for, paid by, and rendering decisions for the federal corporation and banking elite.

If you go into federal court with a Public Defender, the judge, the U.S. Att'y, and your "counsel", are all paid by the government who claims to be the "injured party."

The conviction rate in federal courts is somewhere in the neighborhood of 98%.

Many, if not all, judges and attorneys hold stock in Corrections Corporation of America or one of the other private "corrections" companies.

It behooves them to keep those prisons full.

I've been told, but have no proof, that federal judges are paid a bonus for each defendant they find guilty.
