This might be comical if it weren't the CDC involved and it is their job to oversee our health with the big issues. Ultimately, it comes down to us and not looking up to any agency to provide for your health. Trusting in any of the gov agency's is like putting a loaded handgun in your hand and pointing at your own head for the game of Russian Roulette.

Why connect Morgellons with XMRV??? Other than the obvious examples here of how the CDC dissed them both. Several things occurred over many years; that made me look twice.
When many folks in the area became ill with lethargy and breathing issues; it is my strong contention that something was dumped in the sewage plant close to my home and the military showed up, nothing here, nothing to look at, move along folks.
Don't worry about the fluorescent red, don't worry that they worked nonstop for a couple weeks with the lights on all the time, trucks coming and going to get rid of the red glow.
The workers were freaking out, the communities were sick, lethargic.
First came the incredible itch from hell; nothing would touch it; not benedryl cream or prescriptions. Nothing. It was so painful.
That was when the lesions started, my face looked like hamburger, the fibers went into overdrive and the ability to read or concentrate left, often I couldn't awake if I did go to sleep.
(I also experienced a Rhogam shot in 1982 and not sure if it could have laid in wait?) 1982 to 1991 was like a mixmaster in my brain. Everything was very difficult to comprehend.
The guy that was from the National Guard that died did so from Hanta Virus which he got while on patrol in Tooele. (so the military said)

2. Hanta Virus was what the Military kept pointing at which alludes to a passing of Hanta Virus from a deer mouse (so they say) to a human. It is stated that XMRV cannot pass this way as it is a mouse virus that a human cannot get except by insertion.
3. Scrapie was used in comparison to some of the XMRV and possibly delivered as an attachment with scrapie. It sounds as if the XMRV attaches to the scrapie and can be inserted into other animals this way? Not exact but probably very close.

5. The attack on the Morgellons issue using a fake doctor that was charging folks money; by the Las Vegas Review, along with the attack on Bundy and Ron Paul in one article. Come on????
Called it Senator Harry Reid's Wet Dream and low and behold if Senator Reid didn't show up in the book of Judy Mikovits, PHD; that is when it went over the top for me.

Hi. The CDC study didn't use a known positive sample of XMRV and they did not use the sample the WPI sent them that was known to be positive! Without having a known positive sample the CDC study of negative association of XMRV in CFS is unfortunately invalid, because the CDC are not sure their assay even works before being able to 'find' any MULV/XMRV in CFS patients. How the CDC XMRV/CFS paper was even published is unclear as it fails the most basic rigours of the scientific method of undertaking a study and that is knowing what they are comparing against, with no positive sample this was not possible, additionally the CDC was not even a replication study using the same cook book of methods to detect XMRV.
