Many folks that were from the early ones infected exhibited what was very similar to Scrapie in sheep that was worked on heavily at Dugway Proving Ground in Utah.

I do believe VISNA is Scrapie and was created at Dugway Proving Ground in Utah.

They were using mice for some of this testing; they were also using mice for XMRV testing. I know they use a lot of mice; but what happens when the mice get loose with a whole bunch of infective agents?
