I stopped voting many years ago. I was involved in the caucuses and was once a delegate to the precinct. I was a good Republican. I got to see some of how the machine was run. Nearly all the voting on the most important matters was done in private before the delegates actually met. So much for a voice in the process.

I get sick of the sheeple saying that you can't complain if you don't vote. Or that it is our duty to vote. On and on. Well, now we know that voting is meaningless. Even if the votes are counted accurately and truthfully, all the candidates have already been selected by the Elite. The Elite win no matter who ever wins the election.

George Carlin once said (and I am going to get it partly wrong) "The people who vote WANT a master over themselves". I do not need a master over me. When you look at the number of votes a winning candidate gets, you find a very small percentage of the population puts them into office. Usually far less than 50% of the people vote. So the winner with a heavy turn out might win with as much as 25% of the consent of the adult population.

Rather than voting for a representative, a better way is to give someone you respect your "proxy". In this way you really have someone with views similar to your own. If that person messes up, you can withdraw your proxy immediately. This process assures you are really represented.
