12 Army Reservists humvees rolled up on my unit today out in East-Central Georgia.
Luck would have it that we were training where they wanted to train. All was good.
They extend their best out to the folks in Oregon. I told the CO for the unit that
we would be done in just a bit so the Army waited, standing around their humvees.
When we finished, The First Lieutenant and a local sheriff (Sgt) saluted me as i
walked back to my vehicle. I advised them that we were just Patriots and a salute
was not necessary since i was not U.S. Military but he reminded me that it is the

highest "courtesy" that can be shown by Military to a Militia Officer. I commended
him on his knowledge ( i read that somewhere). The LT then instructed me to write to
the Patriots in Oregon and forward that "salute" to show their support. I was able
to speak for just a moment with those troops that did not even know what "Militia"
was in the first place. I did my best. But those troops and Commanding officer and
the Sheriff only saluted me to pay respect to the 3%ers. I personally salute all
patriots. Hopefully this will find someone in Oregon, if not then at least tell them
some country boys and some Army troops know about Oregon and are rooting for ya. God
Bless America and lets hold on tight because that will never happen again and i am
