A BLIND mystic who reportedly predicted the 9/11 attacks, the 2004 tsunami and even the birth of the Islamic State also predicted a 2016 invasion of Europe by Muslim extremists.

Baba Vanga - who died in 1996 aged 85 - has long been valued as a master prophet because of her purported 85 per cent success rate.

Bulgaria-born Vanga, often referred to as “Nostradamus from the Balkans”, made hundreds of predictions during her 50-year career as a clairvoyant - with many alluding to naturally disasters.

She warned of melting polar ice caps and rising sea temperatures in the 1950s, decades before global warming was established.

But Vagna’s chilling prediction of a “great Muslim war” has sent believers into a frenzy as savage attacks from ISIS - also known as Dash - increase.

The terrifying prophecies warn of a 2016 invasion of Europe by Muslim extremists which would culminate in the establishment of a caliphate by 2043 with Rome at its epicentre.

She also claimed that “Muslims would use chemical warfare against Europeans”.

According Vanga, Europe as we know it will “cease to exist” by the end of next year, with jihadis systematically eradicating entire populations.

She predicted the continent would be left “almost empty”, becoming a “wasteland almost entirely devoid of any form of life”.

ISIS militants recently established new headquarters along Libya’s Mediterranean coast.

Fighters for the depraved terror group have set up a new global base in Sirte - the former home of Colonel Gaddafi, just a few hours across the Mediterranean from Italy.

The barbaric regime has been running training camps for international extremists from Sirte after coalition forces pounded its Syrian stronghold Raqqa.

The branch in the Libyan coastal city - which has evolved into an "actively managed colony" - is the only arm of ISIS its central leadership controls.

Leaders of the savage terror group reportedly adopted a slogan reflecting Sirte's heightened profile within the abhorrent organisation: "Sirte will be no less than Raqqa."

The new stronghold has reportedly seen a rapid growth - rocketing from 200 sick fighters to around 5,000 since ISIS announced its branch there.

Earlier this year the brutal regime also released a map showing the areas it intends to dominate in the next five years.

The menacing image highlights areas the brutal terror organisation plans to seize by 2020, including Spain, China and parts of North Africa.

According to the map, ISIS plan to take control of the Middle East, North Africa and parts of Europe, within the next five years, to complete its caliphate.
