Hobes, so glad the hard part is over with. I know how very much you 'love' hospitals. :-) Just rest and know that RMN will be here and waiting for you when you are ready to get back online.

If they do let you go home early, hopefully, you have a laptop that you can use in bed or resting on the sofa.

Hobie out of surgery at 3:30 pm, and being
moved into recovery. Doctor said he did great.

They went simpler than first indicated by
putting a pin & bracket in his left femur. Dr. said
would need a walker for 3-4 weeks.

He indicated, depending on what rehab thinks,
that he could possibly go home in 2-3 days. Biggest
hurdle will be transportation, and getting him
up steep driveway & 3 steps.

Definitely want to get him home to familiar
surroundings & routines. No way he would agree
to being admitted to rehab wing.
