Russian ships have forced Turkish commercial ship to change course because it has found himself in the path of the vessel of Crimea oil company.

Russian missile cruiser and the boat of the Russian coast guard forced this morning a commercial ship, that sailed in the Black Sea under the Turkish flag to change course, aftr it got in the path of ships of the Crimea energy company Černomornjeftegaz.

The company confirmed that the incident occurred as the convoy's ships transported two oil platforms to the new location in the Russian territorial waters, which has been undertaken because of the complicated international situation, Reuters quoted.

"In violation of regulations for preventing collisions and generally accepted conventions of navigation, the Turkish boat did not get out of the way of the convoy. It is approached from the side and tried to block our path, making the opportunity to get create the collision", the statement from Černomornjeftegaza said, which owns oil platforms.

The company also added that the captain of a Turkish vessel did not respond to multiple calls to the captain from a Russian vessel via radio link.

The incident was resolved when the Russian coast guard boat and missile cruiser of the Russian navy arrived to the aid of convoy that was hauling oil platforms, chasing the Turkish boat away.

Oil platforms, type B-312 and B-319, worth 357 million dollars, in the end were delivered to the intended location.

The Turks claim that the Russians did not shoot

A day earlier, there was another maritime incident. As claimed by the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Russian crew of the destroyer "Smetlivi" was forced to use firearms in order to prevent a collision with a Turkish fishing boat in the Aegean Sea.

But the owner of a Turkish ship Muzaffer Gečić said the sailors of the Russian ship did not open fire on Turkish fishing boat.

"We approached the Russian ship less than one nautical mile. 'Smetlivi' did not move. They did not shoot at us. Even the fire was opened, no one's heard of," said Gečić, and transferred the Turkish media.

Gečić, who is also the owner of "GECICILER Balikcilik", engaged in fishing, and confirmed that his 56-meter-long boat fully equipped with the necessary technique and that "footage from the surveillance cameras gave the Coast Guard," the Russian media.

Previously, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced that the patrol boat "Smetlivi" in the northern part of the Aegean Sea observed at a distance of one kilometer Turkish ship that approached them to the right.

Russia threatens Turkey soothe tensions

The incident occurred about 20 kilometers from the Greek island of Lemnos, after which the Turkish military representative in Moscow called for an interview.

"The Turkish military diplomat warned that occasion the possible disastrous consequences of irrational actions of official Ankara towards the Russian military contingent who performed tasks in the fight against international terrorism in Syria," was confirmed in the Russian Defense Ministry.

He said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, saying that Turkey does not want to raise tensions in relations with Russia.

Asked about the incident in the waters of the Aegean Sea, he said that his country will officially announce about it only after they talk to fishermen from a boat and obtained all the necessary information.

"We saw the Russian statement, but always do that again - we do not want tensions. We advocate to overcome them through dialogue. The steps we have taken after the event on November 24 [when the Syrian-Turkish border brought down a Russian plane] have always been that way. All praised Turkey as a mature and patient approach and does not want to increase tensions, "said Cavusoglu.

Earlier this month, Turkey has complained to Russia about the incident in which a Russian sailor photographed threatens a rocket launcher on the deck of a warship passing by Istanbul.

Cancelled meet Putin - Erdogan

Meanwhile, it was confirmed that bilateral meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, scheduled for December 15 in St. Petersburg, will not take place.

Such information was confirmed Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

The meeting was agreed during the meeting of the two presidents on the sidelines of the G20 meeting last month, which was preceded by the demolition of the Turkish aircraft of the Russian army near the Syrian-Turkish border.

Ties between Moscow and Ankara worsened after the destruction of the Russian aircraft on 24 November, which Putin described as "cowardly stab in the back".

Moscow has imposed economic sanctions against Turkey, Putin said, clearly referring to Turkish forces, commanded its military forces last Friday that "immediately hit every target" that threatens Russian forces and infrastructure in Syria.
