The incident on the flight to Belgrade: Jordanian tried to enter the cockpit, overpowered by passengers

Today during the flight from Frankfurt to Belgrade one of the passengers caused an accident for which other passengers of the aircraft reacted and plane later landed normally.

Serbian media reported that during the flight one passenger, a Jordanian national with a passport of the United States, tried to enter the cockpit of the aircraft of the German company Lufthansa. First he banged on the cockpit door, shouting, "I'll open the door."

Other passengers Responded and managed to owerpower the Jordanian, and the aircraft at 12.45 minutes landed safely at the airport Nikola Tesla in Belgrade.

Immediately after landing in the aircraft entered the police and took out Jordanian and transferred him to the Police Station in Belgrade.

He was restrained by handball players

Jordanian, after the incident, was placed on one of the seats, and was guarded by the players of handball club Vojvodina Rastvorc and Mirkovic, writes Blic.

Club president Milan Djukic told the RTV that the passenger seemed suspicious when he was boarding.

"Somewhere in the middle of the flight he tried to open the cabin door, but was prevented by cabin crew," said Djukic.

Jordanian was overpowered by the assistant coach of Vojvodina Milan Mirkovic and handball player Alexey Rastvortsev. Other passengers did not know what was happening, added Djukic. Under the watchful eyes of Mirkovic and Rastvortsev until the end of the flight Jordanian did not cause problems.
