Slovenia regularly accuses Croatian authorities that refugees are not forwarded after agreeing with them.

In Croatia, on Friday from midnight to 21 pm, entered the nearly seven thousand migrants, and since the beginning of the migration crisis Croatia entered 229.890 of refugees/ migrants.

From midnight to 21 pm in the Republic of Croatia entered 6881 migrants, and currently in a temporary detention center in Opatovac there are 681 people, reported on Friday night Croatian Ministry of Interior Affairs. We are still expecting a lot of refugee pressure wave from Serbia.

Slovenian police announced on Friday that in that country over the border with Croatian, in less than a week, have entered more than 50,000 migrants and refugees, of which only last Thursday entered a record 9,400 of them, and Slovenian prime minister Miro Cerar on his visit to the detention center in Brežice on Friday again warned that the influx of refugees from neighboring Croatia is too uncoordinated with Slovenia. Therefore, the Slovenian government does not exclude the possibility of setting up a physical barrier along the 670 km-long border with Croatia if Europe does not find a common solution, and the pressure of refugees continues to be too great...

Juncker shares concerns over xenophobia as Germany's asylum policy kicks in

European Union Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has expressed concern about xenophobia in Germany. Juncker addressed the issue as the country's amended asylum seekers policy came into effect.

Juncker told German papers belonging to the media group "Funke Mediengruppe" on Saturday that if hate slogans, heard at demonstration and such incitement can result in attacks on people , then he was prepared to worry arbout these "so-called citizens."

The EU Commision's president said, however, that the vast majority in Germans have shown "heart instead of hate" - a slogan which has been widely used at anti-xenophobia demonstrations.

"That gives me courage," Juncker said.

Increase in attacks

Juncker's worries follow a series of xenophobic attacks across Germany. The number of attacks against refugee shelters, for example, has more than doubled this year compared to 2014.

Just last weekend, the new mayor of Cologne, Henriette Reker - who is known for her pro-refugee stance and organization of migrant accommodation in the city - was the victim in a xenophobia-motivated knife attack.

The Central Council of Jews in Germany also called on the government on Saturday, to take decisive action against right-wing extremism.

"The fight against growing right-wing extremism must be a top priority both in political as well as with security authorities," the Council's President Josef Schuster told German newspaper, "Mitteldeutsche Zeitung."

"Germany must be able to protect both asylum seekers as well as volunteers. The recent warnings from the Federal Criminal Police (BKA) against increasing right-wing violence should be taken seriously," Schuster said, adding that the German police force needed more staff.

Asylum package begins

The comments on Saturday came as Germany's much-debated asylum seekers policy came into action.

The main aims of the amended asylum package are to speed up asylum procedures and ensure that rejected asylum applicants quickly return to their home country. As part of the reforms, refugees allowed to stay in Germany should also be provided with better means to integrate into society.

The changes to Germany's asylum policy have been met with some harsh criticism, however, even from with Chancellor Angela Merklel's own Christian Demorcatic Union (CDU) who have descibed the policy as "unsustainable."

The prime ministers of Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania were due to hold talks on Saturday about how to deal with the influx of refugees over the winter months. In a separate mini-summit on Sunday, a handful of EU member states and non-EU memebers are scheduled to dicsuss a coordinated response to the crisis.

Armed and masked Greeks attack boats with refugees

Armed men in camouflage uniforms are destroying ships carrying refugees and asylum seekers in the Aegean sea and returning them back into Turkish waters, a statement from Human Rights Watch

The report refers to the statements of nine witnesses who described the armed and masked attackers on ships off the coast in the Aegean Sea.

Witnesses said the attackers were deliberately destroyed ships and took off their engines or fuel tanks, and in some cases dragged them into Turkish waters.

The last reported in those cases allegedly took place on 9 October, when the attackers destroyed the engines of several ships and drilled holes in the single wall rubber boats.

Three more similar incidents confirmed more than one witness, and the way they are presented is very similar. It describes the masked men who descend from a larger ship to ship with refugees. The ship on which they sailed had a Greek flag.

After they crippled ship with refugees the attackers left it adrift without control.

Human Rights Watch strongly condemned the attacks.
