Without the individual there can be no revolution, no radical parties, and no opinion or thought other than the leaders�. That is the very reason leaders in a dictatorship/dystopia abolish the idea of the individual as quickly as possible. The individual thinks and acts according to their beliefs and their thoughts that they have developed through information and experience. An individual develops their own ideas regardless of the ideas and beliefs of an authority figure. A leader in a dystopia wants everyone to believe only their thought and beliefs; this is why the individual is dangerous in the dystopia.
