Here is how the development of the land ownership became to tool of control. I didn't expect to get so detailed.
The concept of land ownership has been used for millennia to bifurcate cultures. Here is a presentation about how the Vatican claimed ownership of Buddhists property and used it as a device to start wars. This explains how the Buddhists became soldiers and how Tibet became a butcher shop today. The same model was used for the western world and Christians which is explained in part 2 of Zens' article. The Popes also indoctrinated their calendar which is pathetic compared to many ancient calendars. We use the Gregorian calendar today.

When land is offered one does not purchase the land, as the article states. One purchases rights to the land. Needless to say your rights can always be challenged in time. I have realized anyone can walk into any common court and make any decision fall any way they want. A seemingly fair system but it is far from legitimate. Just another facade for control.
fief (fiːf) or feoff
n
1. (Historical Terms) (in feudal Europe) the property or fee granted to a vassal for his maintenance by his lord in return for service
fief·dom (fēf′dəm)
n.
1. The estate or domain of a feudal lord.
2. An organization or department over which one dominant person or group exercises control.
The origin of word 'feudal' is explained in Zens' part 2. This set the stage for an element of control to police the land and created what we refer to today as a sheriff. This article is interesting and shows how control always ends up serving the state.

In addition the word state (also used to describe countries and kingdoms) was derived from estate which is a land tract. Land ownership intentionally became a centrifuge for local strife and tax collection. The word tax itself may have been a word for stealing which allegedly came from an exo origin.
In the late 1600's Hollands plant bulbs became a commodity and were traded on speculation and the first economic market was formed. This eventually became a stock market. British bankers immediately saw the ability to manipulate such a market thru public statements concerning the ongoing validity of commodities. Coupled with fabricated stock sales panic was incited which lowered value leaving the field open for exploitation thru volume buys at low rates. The stock market has been a casino since its inception.
