Activist Dennis Weaver Died of Cancer Shortly After His Famous March

Actor and Activist Dennis Weaver, star of 'Duel', had led a famous sort of march across America in 2004. He led a fleet of alternative fuel vehicles across the country to raise awareness about America's dependence on oil. Sometimes I wonder if the protest march costed him his life, or at least radically shortened it.

A little over a year or so later ( Feb 2006 1.) he was dead of complications of cancer.

Dennis was also an environmentalist activist.
