I mean no offense by butting in here, but just possibly there are other things to consider.

Allow me to begin by saying that I personally don't accept the possibility of re-incarnation.

I do believe, as others have ventured, that the mind/soul/spirit is an eternal thing.

That said, it's obvious that things of the flesh (carnate) at least in this dimension do require finite (and physical) space.

It is also apparent that *ALL* of our flesh actions and experiences are "judged" by the mind/soul/spirit, either our own or that of others.

Since our mind/soul/spirit is 'real', and an individual is known/recognized by his/her mind/soul spirit we can ask ourselves the questions:

Exactly how much physical "volume" does it occupy? Further, how many "databytes" are needed to "store" an individual's "program"?
How much volume does an individuals' lifetime of thoughts occupy?

Q.E.D. The storage of 7.2 Billion files seems to me a rather trivial problem, even for NSA.

And as for 'reincarnating' -- Since our flesh is made from 'the dust of the earth'-- then if it were to be possible, it seems to me that a 3D printer may work just fine, but, most assuredly the "breath of life" may prove a bit difficult.

Thus, there's many many things we collectively simply do not recall.
