Your reader has evidently never been in combat and faced an armed enemy. They paint a dim picture of our outcome.

As a combat veteran Special Operations I do not see NATO forces setting foot in mass on our soil. For one thing if we have any indication they are coming we can attack them as they land, before they are even gunned up. Or we can take them to one of the many FEMA camps if they catch us on a good day. The same goes for the border where additional fighters might invade to attack us. We can shut that down at the border.

There are MILLIONS of combat trained, hardened and mature veterans that know how to fight and can take the fight to the enemy. Many in every town and city.

If then embedded enemy already in our country want to attack they need to move from city to city in large transports which are obvious on the highways and can be destroyed by our military air craft. Large number of poorly trained enemy without superior air fire power are sitting ducks.

When you add our military including out national guard, you have an enormous fighting force with millions of citizens willing to provide supplies, transport and medical aid, etc.

Veterans are not anxious to fight, but defend their country and constitution they will. Americans in general own lots of guns and lots of ammunition. This includes hunters and people from all walks of life that are prepared to learn from veterans and stand beside them.

One thing we learned is you never give up, no never disparage and you never think you are going to loose. That results in a half-hearted effort.

Someone that talks negatively is reinforcing a "WE ARE GOING TO LOSS/DIE" attitude which benefits no one and only spreads fear among the weak.

The United States is a BAD, BAD place to attack. We are a large well armed population of patriots.
