DESCRIPTION
The lyrics are from a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and the tune is my own. It first appeared on a recording called A Winter Solstice III on Windham Hill Records in 1990. I hope you like this version. Merry Merry and Happy Happy to You!

This song has been a staple of our family Christmas since we bought the Winter Solstice 3 album all those years ago. This version is my childrens favorite. May God bless you for adding such beauty to our lives.

This ... THIS song is how I discovered you in the darkest days of my life in 1993-1994 off The Winter Solstice III album. Thank you for covering this song. You have given me decades of entertainment and enjoyment. By far, if asked, I respond that this is my favorite Christmas song.

I've listened to many versions of this song, but this is, by far, the most poignant and heartfelt. It's just a magnificent piece. Is there any way I can get the tablature for this song? Also, I just bought your songbook. It's very well done. Thank you :)
