First, consider that men who have brought forth great inventions and revolutionary concepts did so by first mentally questioning or challenging commonly held universal 'beliefs'.

On the one hand, one easily realizes that physical truths, ie gravity, magnetism, etc DO NOT require anyone's 'belief' to prove their reality, their existence, or to be, in fact,"true".

On the other hand, things such as gravity and electricity cannot be seen with flesh eyes, but evidence of their works often is used to prove their reality, as well as to gain insight into their nature.

Hence, it is by the works of such unseen things that an an observer becomes convinced of their existence, as well as their nature. Their natural characteristics in identical circumstances never changes.

Their works - and the observer's mind, working together.

Ahh. The observer's mind. Therein lies the rub, so to speak.

Sometimes ones mind is stimulated by serendipity, but more often it is by sheer determination... that aspect of 'mind' that continuously asks "why is/must this be so?'

In the above example, unseen, or 'spiritual things' if you will allow me the liberty of using the term, are made evident, or 'proven' by their works, IN THE MIND of the observer, PROVIDED that the inventor's 'mind' is not biased against their existence by beliefs of inventors which came before.

Such also describes the common mistake of combining Christianity (Christ-Man) and religion (mans term) in one kettle.

Once one's mind has confused Christianity with Religion, there can be no argument presented nor questions addressed which satisfy the mind.

Christianity, being spiritual, cannot be contained in religion, which is physical, simply because they are mutually incompatible TO the MIND because of the works exhibited by each.

THINK about it.

: portrayed in their book and by their preachers, it would
: still be contrary to freedom and liberty (which so many
: love here) and pro control, slavery and subservience (which
: so many detest here) and of course, sound judgement

: People obey a countries’s laws to get benefits and not get
: punished by fine, imprisonment or death.

: People obey commandments to get benefits and to not get
: punished by their churches (unlike in days of old) or by
: burning in hell.

: BOTH Christian theology and political philosophy have the same
: ends: BENEFITS for OBEDIENCE and PUNISHMENT FOR screwing
: up.

: Just what mankind needs is a tyranny in the hereafter with
: plenty of practice to prepare for it in the herepresent
: through government and religion.

: Christian teachings by minister’s interpretation of the bible
: are akin to the political philosophy of a tyrant, despot,
: dictator, slaver or insane king who by the sword or gun or
: threat of future hell, gives rewards or decrees punishments
: according to his whim and ability to wield his power at his
: discretion, and announcing, “Because I am God, your tyrant,
: despot, dictator, slaver and insane king, and because I
: have the power, you will obey me or suffer the
: consequences. I will have your obedience or you will pay
: with not only your life here and now, but hereafter, for
: ever, plus three hours.”

: “I am God, and whatever I do is right, which means, might
: makes right” (which reasonable folks abhor).

: Selling your soul to Christianity (or any theology) is no
: better than selling it to the devil, for, according to the
: story....the devil wasn’t the one who designed Adam and Eve
: (with their dispositions) nor did he place the forbidden
: apple on the tree in the garden within reach of the couple
: and then depart, leaving the devil there to tempt Adam and
: Eve. It was a hell of a trap.

: Depending on how the Bible is interpreted, you must (1) accept

: (4) Jesus paid for Adams transgression which brought death
: into the world and Jesus takes upon him that transgression
: and all other sins, but you have to pay for your personal
: sins (I’m stopping here because there are dozens of other
: interpretations).

: Christianities’s God and Kingdom doesn’t make sense.

: A tyrant, a despot, a dictator or a slave owner, each ruling
: their kingdoms, would be hard pressed to equal the savagery
: and insanity of the Christian God as portrayed in his book
: and taught by “his” ministers.
